I have noticed on Facebook’s Mafia Wars that many people use brackets before their names. The most common seem to be [IMG] [SBG] & [LCM]. Does anyone know what they mean or what they are for?

It could be if they are part of a group then that group puts that before all there names.
These would be group names. [LCN] would be La Costra Nostra, (SBG) would be Stray Bullets Group, etc. Currently, these two families are at war. There are many families some of which form alliances. Some try to tell you how to play. It is best not to attack a person in a family too much or you may bring that families entire clan down on your head.
