You have to be 18 to purchase them. E-cigs are not tobacco, but are an addictive substance nicotine. So by taking away the tobacco the nicotine becomes a controlled substance.
But if you do decide to smoke them green smoke does offer a a zero nicotine electronic cigarette so you are basically just puffing flavored water.

I’m guessing it’s not against the law at any age because they don’t contain tobacco and they aren’t smoked. So unless your state has passed a law specifically banning minors from using nicotine or electronic cigarettes you’re probably OK.

You are obviously not old enough to smoke if you are asking this. DO NOT EVER LIGHT UP. You will regret it. Smoking can cause COPD, emphysema, and other lung diseases that aren’t widely known. JUST DO NOT SMOKE. I regret it every day, and I’m a former smoker.
